The cylinder block may have the markings 48, 49 or 72; all three are suitable for the 70cc models. This head is intended for a 50cc or 70cc engine, but please note: this is the version for "Domed" 50cc pistons or "Flat Top" 70cc pistons. There are two different 50cc cylinder heads and two different 70cc cylinder heads for Honda; compare the combustion chamber dimensions with your current head. For a 50cc engine, this head only works with DOMED pistons; for a 70cc engine, only with FLAT TOP pistons.
